wow...this was great! not only did i learn a lot but i had so much fun doing it, if there is another challenge offered, i will definitely sign-on :)
there are certian aspects of the challenge that i now use everyday, RSS feeds for example, and others i will definitely use in the future, ie podcasts. i also really enjoyed reading others thoughts and having them share their thoughts with me, looking forward to seeing you guys at MLA!
thanks to our facilitators for making this possible! kudos!...

wiki
i don't like these... maybe it's because i am an only child, but i DON"T LIKE OTHER PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW TOUCHING MY STUFF!!! i can understand that they are a democratic way to share information but that is just all well and good in theory. there is always a bad apple that vandalizes, prints false info etc...etc... even one of the examples in the 2.0 challenge had a disclaimer and apology at the top saying it had to restrict users due to prior acts of vandalism! heck my collegue and i don't even like saying the word...

playtime & podcasts...
i have a headache...
my aggregator won't play the things, i have the wrong this or that, blah blah blah...
anyway, enough of that. i really enjoyed my playtime last week. the nightingale generator was by far the best and entertained several of my patrons as well :). library thing is a great tool for little libraries such as the one my retired librarian friend oversees at her church in MN, free, easy to use, easy for patrons to access, but will it last? things are ever changing on the internet, that's what worries me...
podcasts.... love 'em, giving me trouble at the moment, more to come...

flicker...
flicker allows one to be very creative when manipulating images. i especially like the items that can be made from images, cubes, books etc... however, being a user of a 35mm camera who doesn't own a digital or a scanner, it is not very applicable to me at this point in time and i would not feel right using anothers images...

rss feeds
really enjoyed learning about rss feeds today, they could become very addictive! was amazed to find a feed all about budgies :) nice to have a variety of information in one compact source.
